The safety tests perfom�ed were <br /> i� accordance with ASThI ES 93, EmerQeacy Standar�Perfcrmance Specific�ation for Safery Covers and <br /> Labeling Requiremerrts for al! coyers fvr Swimmirtg po�1�, Saas and Hot tubs. <br /> A 16'x 32' pQot was bpted at.the Corporate Offices of Ccver-Pools� Inc. The poot was ec;uipped with <br /> an under Uadc Cover-Pooi saf�tyr cover and top trac�c(universa!) Gover-Pool safety cover. The trackfng <br /> systems were conrtected to a r�dwpod deck� by�th the connectioas at Ewo feet on cenber along the Iength <br /> of the deck The safety cover fabrfc used in the under tr�C system had a grrysicat property of 16.2 <br /> ozlsq. yd. The safety caver fabric used in the b�p 7ack system had a physicat prapertyr of 13.2 ozlsq. <br /> Yd• <br /> STATIC LOAD TEST <br /> The static load test was cenducted on both Caver-Poo! safety c�vers in acxordance w+th <br /> sectloa 9.1 ot ASTM ES 13. The weigMs crsed wete weighed using a cafibrated scale <br /> whkh is traceabie to the National Bttreau af Siandards. The three weights used each <br /> had an area of ane square foot One weight weighed 51.0 tbs., one 210.1 Ibs. and one <br /> 226.3 Ibs, Tt�e total vveight used for the st�tic load tests was 487,4 lbs. Thre� points <br /> were te,sted for sta6c load on each Cover-Poo! safety caver.
