Certificate of Survey. Please provide 2 copies of an updated, full size certificate of survey which meets <br /> all of the City's survey standards (enclosed) indicating the location of the proposed retaining wall (and any <br /> proposed grading) as well as all existing buildings, structures and landscaping. City Engineer, Jesse <br /> Struve, reviewed the submitted documents; his comments are attached. <br /> 2. Zoning Permit Application. Grading, filling or excavating requires a zoning permit. Attached is a zoning <br /> permit application. It is unknown at this time, if the activity qualifies as a major or minor land alteration. <br /> Your surveyor should show the existing topography and proposed grading on the revised survey as well <br /> as calculate the amount of earth movement. Any disturbance or grading activity in excess of 500 cy <br /> requires a city council approved conditional use permit(CUP). <br /> 3. Minnehaha Creek Watershed District (MCWD) Permits. Please contact the MCWD regarding your <br /> proposed project to determine if your project triggers any of the MCWD permitting requirements. The City <br /> of Orono will not issue a building permit without a copy of the permit from the MCWD or written <br /> documentation stating the proposed project does not trigger any MCWD permitting requirements. <br /> 4. Escrow 8� Escrow Agreement. The city currently holds a $2,500 escrow agreement for the construction <br /> of the new home. If a major land alteration permit (CUP) is required, additional escrow monies may be <br /> required. <br /> The above information is required in order for the plan review to continue.
