Steel shall be galvanized. Provide holes 1/16"larger than specified <br /> fastener diameter for connections to wood. <br /> 2) Steel construction shall be in accordance with AISC Manual of Steel <br /> Construction. <br /> 3) All repair connections shall be in accordance with the current edition of the <br /> National Design Specifications for Wood Construction. <br /> 4) Use bolts where required that meet requirements of ANSUASME Standard <br /> B 18.2.1. Bolts shall be stainless steel. <br /> 5) Use a standard cut washer shall be between the plate and bolt head in additions to <br /> between the plate and nut. <br /> 6) All construction shall be in accordance with the latest edition of the MN State <br /> Building code <br /> 7) Details produced by Encompass, Inc. provide structural design information only <br /> as it relates to the repair of the damaged locations to the existing truss. Additional <br /> structural/architectural concerns are the responsibilities of the owner and <br /> contractor. <br />
