0 <br />MINUTES OF THE CANVASSING BOARD MEETING <br />HELD NOVEMBER 4,1998 AT 9:30 A.M. <br />ROLL <br />The Council met as the Canvassing Board on the above date and time in the Orono Council <br />Chambers. The following members were present: Mayor Jabbour, Councilmembers J. Diann <br />Goetten, Barbara Peterson, Charles Kelley and Richard Flint. The following represented City staff: <br />City Administrator Ron Moorse, City Clerk Lin Vee and Deputy Clerk Carole Haseman. <br />Mayor Jabbour called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. <br />Council members were given results of the November 3, 1998 General Election. (copies attached) <br />Councilmember Goetten moved, Councilmember Kelley seconded, to certify the results of the <br />November 3, 1998 municipal election as follows: <br />MAYOR - Two Year Term <br />Gabriel Jabbour receiving 3,135 votes <br />COUNCILMEMBERS - Elect Two for 4 Year Terms <br />Bob Sansevere <br />receiving <br />2,020 votes <br />Richard N. Flint <br />receiving <br />1,989 votes <br />J. Diann Goetten <br />receiving <br />1,883 votes <br />Write In <br />receiving <br />48 votes <br />Write In <br />receiving <br />9 votes <br />Vote: 5 Ayes, 0 nays. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />The Canvassing Board meeting adjourned at 9:35 a.m. <br />ATTEST: <br />i a S.
