ORONO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />MINUTES FOR MAY 26, 1998 <br />PLANNING COMMISSION COMMENTS - LIZ HAWN, REPRESENTATIVE <br />There were no Planning Commission comments. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />Mary Nicholl, 160 Smith Avenue, stated she was in favor of opening the Woodhill Golf Course <br />access. <br />She was unable to remain at the meeting until Item #21 would be discussed. <br />ZONING ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT <br />( #5) #2308 BROOK PARK REALTY, 3760 SHORELINE DRIVE - PRD & CLASS III <br />PRELIMINARY SUBDIVISION <br />The applicant was not present. <br />i <br />Moorse reported the applicants had requested a continuation of the review as they still have <br />concerns about the ability to gain access to County Road 15. Barrett added that he had talked • <br />with the applicant's attorney, Tim Keane, and they will continue to work on language regarding <br />the County Road 15 access. Keane will provide a draft of the language as soon as available. <br />Jabbour noted the City is not in a position to guarantee access but is encouraging access, and that <br />Council was willing to act on the application at the current meeting. <br />Kelley moved, Peterson seconded, to table Application #2308 for Brook Park Realty at the <br />applicant's request, and that there would be a tolling of any time periods which would otherwise <br />run against the City or the applicant during the continuance periods. Vote: Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />( #6) #2339 JIM RENDER, 1365 TONKAWA ROAD - FINAL PLAT APPROVAL <br />The applicant was not present. <br />Gaffron reported that the mylars for the subdivision were not available and requested tabling to <br />the June 8 meeting. Gaffron confirmed there was no problem with deadline dates because the <br />intent has been to approve the application. <br />Peterson moved, Kelley seconded, to table Application #2339 for final plat approval for the <br />property located at 1365 Tonkawa Road. Vote: Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />2 <br />
