MINUTES OF THE <br />ORONO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />Monday, July 25, 2016 <br />7:00 o'clock p.m. <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT <br />City Administrator Loftus noted the primary will be held August 9 from 7 a.m. to S p.m. and that there is <br />one judicial office on the ballot. Loftus encouraged everyone to come out and vote. <br />Loftus stated National Night Out will be held on August 2 and that she would encourage anyone hosting a <br />neighbor party to contact the Orono Police Department. <br />*9. SECOND QUARTER FINANCIAL REPORT <br />The City Council was provided with Staff's memorandum for their review and took no formal action on <br />this item. <br />*10. SPRING PARK AGREEMENT FOR STANDBY SERVICE <br />Levang moved, Printup seconded, to approve the Agreement for Standby Service between the City <br />of Orono and the City of Spring Park, and to authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the <br />agreement. VOTE: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />*11. CLAIMS/BILLS <br />Levang moved, Printup seconded, to approve payment of the All Funds Account. VOTE: Ayes 5, <br />Nays 0. <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />12. CLOSED SESSION — CONDEMNATION PROCEEDINGS AGAINST THE PROPERTY <br />LOCATED AT 1960 SHORELINE DRIVE <br />McMillan stated the City Council will be going into closed session pursuant to Attorney -Client privilege, <br />Section 13D.05, Subdivision 3(b), to discuss initiating condemnation proceedings against the property <br />located at 1960 Shoreline Drive. <br />Levang moved, Printup seconded, to enter into closed session.
