Unless otherwise defined, such animals shall include � <br /> members of the equestrian family (horses, mules), bovine family (cows, bulls), sheep, <br /> poultry (chickens, turkeys), fowl (ducks, geese), swine (including Vietnamese pot-bellied <br /> pigs), goats, bees, and other animals associated with a farm, ranch, or stable. <br /> 1110.09. Farm animals. � <br /> Subdivision 1. Requirements. <br /> Farm animals may only be kept in A or AP zonina districts, or on a residential lot <br /> of at least ten acres in size provided that farm animals on said residential lots are not <br /> sheltered within 300 feet of an adjoining piece of property. <br /> Subd. 2. Exception. <br /> �:. <br /> An exception shall be made to this subsection for those animals brought into the <br /> city as part of an operating zoo, veterinarian clinic, scientific research laboratory, or <br /> a licensed show or exhibition. <br /> 1110.17. Nuisances. <br /> Subd. 4. Animal noise. <br /> No person owning, operating, having charge of, or occupying, any building or <br /> premises� keep or allow to be kept any animal which, by any noise, <br /> unreasonably disturbs the peace and quiet of any person in the vicinity. The phrase <br /> "unreasonably disturbs the peace" includes, but is not limited to the creation of any <br /> noise by any animal_ <br /> a that can be heard by any person (which may include members of the ci� <br /> public safetv department) from�a loc�tion outside of the building or • <br /> premises where the animal is being kepti <br /> b) where the animal noise occurs repeatedly or where the animal noise would be <br /> found to be excessive and unreasonable bv a aerson of ordinarv � <br /> sensibilities: and <br /> . �''`t�� (c) where the animal noise would be found to be out of character for the zonina ��'}� <br /> status of that propertv. <br />
