'Chrough further research it appears that a lawn care, landscapin�� and contractor business is <br /> operating at the above residential address. Home occupations within the City ofOrono are re�ulated under City Code <br /> Section 78-1376;this section is attached herein for your reference. It appears that youur commercial use of the above <br /> property may fall under one of the following t�vo categories of this City Code: Level ? Home Occupation or <br /> Prohibited Home Occl�pation. <br /> Please complete the attached Home Occupation License application and submit to the City no later than July 1,2005 <br /> in order to avoid legal action by the City. Upon receipt of your application, Citv Staff will evaluate your use of the <br /> above residenti�l property for its qualification as a Level 2 Home Occupation. }{owever. Ciry Staff performed a <br /> cursory properiy inspection on May 26`�'and it was noted that equipment consistent�vith a landscaping company was <br /> stored on the property. Operating a contracting shop and/or outdoor storage associated with a home occupation is <br /> strictly prohibited. <br /> Additionally,an illegal access to County Road 151 is located at the rear of yoiu�property. Removal of this access was <br /> a requirement of your building permit for the detached gara�e in September of 2004. It appears that the access was <br /> partially removed;however additional restoration is necessary.
