Box 66 C/Td/p
Crystal Bay, MN 55323 NO
Dear Council Members:
This letter is in response to home occupation license application made hy Jeff and Tracy
Cordes, Metm Pro Inc. for residential property located at 830 Forest Arms Lane.
As adjacent property owners at 800 Forest Arms Lane, we do not support this home
occupation license application for the following reasons:
• The neighborhood is zoned RI—Residential, one-acre min. lot
• The day-to-day operation of the business affects our quality of lif The
following activity is both seen and heard regularly.
• The business operation regularly uses heavy equipment including a 3/4 ton
pickup truck with large trailer attachment used for hauling mowing
equipment or a dump trailer hauling a bobcat or landscaping materials
(trees, shrubs).
• This equipment as well as employee vehicles use a recently created gravel
driveway abutting our property in order to access a storage facility behind
the house from the street.
• Potential nffect a zoning variance would have on the value of our property. As
we move to a new phase in our life, we are in the process of selling our home. A
zoning variance would directly affect its value and appeal to potential buyers.
Wanting to be neighborly, we are sympathetic to our neighbors hope to build a new
business. In fact, we even hired him when his business wasn't a full-scale landsca.ping
business but merely lawn mowing with a John Deere garden tractor. However, the
operation of a full-scale landscaping business(www.metroproinc.com) directly and
negatively impacts our quality of life.
Snser /
/,.
- - mz.-- -,. ..:.-,--
Robert and Janis Bonnema ,'
800 Forest Arms Lane `
Orono, MN 55364
