MINUTES OF ORONO COUNCIL MEETING HELD OCTOBER 23, 1989 <br />is AMM POLICY ADOPTION MEETING* <br />It was moved by Mayor Grabek, seconded by Councilmember <br />Goetten, to acknowledge receipt of the policies together with any <br />comments they may have on the policies. Motion, Ayes =S, Nays =O, <br />Motion passed. <br />HIGHWAY 12 SAFETY IMPROVFMENTS* <br />It was moved by Mayor Grabek, seconded by Councilmember <br />Goetten, to table further discussion on this awaiting word from <br />Long Lake on the project but City staff and the City Engineer <br />work together to develop the feasibility study and layouts to <br />begin discussion with appropriate property owners for the <br />frontage roads. Motion, Ayes =5, Nays =O, Motion passed. <br />AUDITOR APPOINTMENT 1989* <br />It was moved by Mayor Grabek, seconded by Councilmember <br />Goetten, to appoint the audit firm of Pannell Kerr Forster to <br />perform the required audits for the 1989 fiscal year at an <br />estimated cost of $14,750 plus direct expenses. Motion, Ayes =5, <br />Nays =O, Motion passed. <br />SALE OF CITY PROPERTY* <br />This item was previously removed from the agenda. <br />1990 -2000 CAPITAL BUDGET UPDATE* <br />It was moved by Mayor Grabek, seconded by Councilmember <br />Goetten, to table this matter for further discussion in the 1990 <br />budget process.
