A <br />MINUTES OF THE ORONO COUNCIL MEETING OF AUGUST 28, 1989 <br />ZONING ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT: • <br />#1405 THOMAS COLWELL <br />2640 NORTH SHORE DRIVE <br />FINAL SUBDIVISION <br />RESOLUTION #2684* <br />It was moved by Mayor Grabek, seconded by Councilmember <br />Goetten, to adopt Resolution #2684, approving the final plat for <br />the Colwell Addition. Motion, Ayes =3, Nays =O, Motion passed. <br />#1326 WAYZATA COUNTRY CLUB /RON LAUER <br />NORTH FERNDALE ROAD <br />FINAL SUBDIVISION <br />RESOLUTION #2685* <br />It was moved by Mayor Grabek, seconded by Councilmember <br />Goetten, to adopt Resolution #2685, approving the plat of Hauser <br />Lauer WCC Addition for Leopold Hauser, Ronald Lauer and Wayzata <br />Country Club, on North Ferndale Road. Motion, Ayes =3, Nays =O, <br />Motion passed. <br />#1407 LEOPOLD HAUSER <br />475 FERNDALE ROAD NORTH <br />FINAL SUBDIVISION <br />RESOLUTION #2685* <br />It was moved by Mayor Grabek, seconded by Councilmember <br />Goetten, to adopt Resolution #2685, approving the plat of Hauser • <br />Lauer WCC Addition for Leopold Hauser, Ronald Lauer and Wayzata <br />Country Club, on North Ferndale Road. Motion, Ayes =3, Nays =O, <br />Motion passed. <br />#1417 NSP SUBSTATION <br />3960 SIXTH AVENUE NORTH <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />RESOLUTION #2686 <br />City Administrator Bernhardson explained that this was a <br />request for a conditional use permit for construction of an <br />electric substation near Highway 12 and County Road 6. <br />Representatives from NSP met with the neighboring property owners <br />and the satisfactory solution to their concerns is now being <br />proposed. <br />Building and Zoning Administrator Mabusth noted that none of <br />the neighbors who had expressed concern about this project were <br />present for this meeting. <br />Mr. David Fisher confirmed that the neighbors totally <br />accepted NSP's proposal. He added that the plans had changed <br />quite a bit as a result of the neighbors' input. He said that <br />the location of the substation had been revised so that there <br />would be no tree removal; NSP intended to plant approximately 80 <br />trees. <br />• <br />Mabusth said that NSP's proposal would not require the <br />erection of any additional electric poles, but additional lines <br />would be added to existing poles. <br />3 <br />
