Before I can
schedule the wetland inspector to visit the site, the delineated wetland edge and buffer must be re-staked by the
surveyor. Once the markers are in place, I will have the wetland specialist visit the site and determine if the wetland
buffer is in compliance with the planting plan that was approved on 12-22-2011.
Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

Christine Mattson
Planning Assistant
City of Orono
2750 Kelly Parkway Orono MN 55356 (physical addressJ
PO Box 66 Crystal Bay MN 55323-0066 (mailing address)
'S 952.249.4620 3 952.249.4616
 cmattson@ci.orono.mn.us www.ci.orono.mn.us
Summer Office Hours: (Monday, May 20 through Friday,August 30,2013)
Monday-Thursday: 7:30 am to 5 pm
Friday: 7:30 am to 11:30 am
OUR OFFICE WILL BE CLOSED: Monday, May 27, 2013
From: Jesse Struve
Sent: Wednesday, May 22, 2013 3:24 PM
To: Melanie Curtis
Cc: Christine Mattson
Subject: 20120522 805 Forest Arms Lane
Melanie,
I performed an as-built inspection and the applicant has corrected the erosion along the south side of the house. I
cannot tell if what is planted in the wetland buffer area is of the appropriate mixture and it has not established itself.
We can send out the specialist from Bolton and Menk to inspect the buffer area. There are no signs or any sort of
markers to indicate where the buffer area begins either therefore it might be difficult to determine the buffer location.
There is some erosion taking place along the north property line where a path was cleared from CSAH 151. The
applicant has enough materials on hand to make the corrections but this area should be corrected and vegetation
established.
1
z
