• <br />• <br />MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING <br />HELD MARCH 8, 1989 <br />ATTENDANCE 7:02 P.M. <br />The Council met on the above date with the following <br />members present: Mayor Grabek, Councilmembers Goetten, Peterson, <br />Callahan and Nettles. The following represented City staff: <br />City Administrator Bernhardson, Building and Zoning Administrator <br />Mabusth, Assistant Planning and Zoning Administrator Gaffron, <br />Public Works Director Gerhardson, Building Inspector Jacobs, City <br />Clerk Hallin, Police Chief Kilbo and Finance Director Kuehn. <br />Mayor Grabek stated there was an item of business for the <br />Council to act upon tonight that had not been scheduled. <br />#1085 RICHARD E. BROWN <br />1245 SIXTH AVENUE NORTH <br />WAIVING APPLICATION OF <br />SUBDIVISION REQUIREMENTS <br />FOR LOT LINE REARRANGEMENT <br />RESOLUTION #2585 <br />City Administrator Bernhardson stated this matter had been <br />approved in November of 1986 and had not been filed with the <br />County in a timely manner and the time for filing has expired. <br />The applicant is requesting that Council waive the application of <br />subdivision requirements. A draft resolution is presented for <br />Council consideration. <br />Mr. Carter Delaitre, Attorney for the applicant was present <br />and had no comments. <br />It was moved by Councilmember Goetten, seconded by <br />Councilmember Peterson, to adopt Resolution #2585 a Resolution <br />Waiving Application of Subdivision Requirements for Lot Line <br />Rearrangement for Richard E. Brown. Motion, Ayes 5, Nays 0, <br />Motion passed. <br />INFORMATIONAL ITEMS <br />CITY FACILITIES SITE ANALYSIS <br />Mayor Grabek stated the purpose of the special meeting was <br />to review the site analysis study completed by David Kroos of <br />Boarman & Associates. <br />Mr. Kroos reviewed the three site locations, options for <br />each, other site considerations and a schedule to completion for <br />Council. <br />City Administrator Bernhardson noted issues related to each <br />site that were not necessarily evident in the tabular analysis <br />is presented. <br />Mayor Grabek discussed his feelings related to the need to <br />move ahead on the issue and asked for comments from staff on the <br />proposals. <br />1 <br />
