• <br />0 <br />MINUTES OF REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING JANUARY 9, 1989 <br />LAKE MINNETONKA CABLE COMMISSION CONTINUED <br />the quorum requirements. Motion, Ayes 5, Nays 0, Motion passed. <br />SALARY ADJUSTMENT - <br />OFFICER MARK TOMCZYK* <br />It was moved by Mayor Grabek, seconded by Councilmember <br />Peterson, to increase Officer Tomczyk's salary from $16.163 per <br />hour to $16.477 per hour effective November 17, 1988. Motion, <br />Ayes 5, Nays 0, Motion passed. <br />EMPLOYMENT - PART TIME CLERICAL <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT* <br />It was moved by Mayor Grabek, seconded by Councilmember <br />Peterson, the Orono Council authorizes the employment of Sally <br />Lynn Christianson for the position of part time clerical in the <br />police department at $6.00 per hour commencing January 10, 1989. <br />Motion, Ayes 5, Nays 0, Motion passed. <br />ASSESSMENT ROLL - HAZARDOUS BUILDING <br />RESOLUTION #2566* <br />It was moved by Mayor Grabek, seconded by Councilmember <br />Peterson, to adopt Resolution #2566 adopting the assessment roll <br />for Hazardous Building Actions - 1988 -2. Motion, Ayes 5, Nays 0, <br />Motion passed. <br />INSPECTION SERVICES CONTRACT* <br />It was moved by Mayor Grabek, seconded by Councilmember <br />Peterson, that the Orono City Council approve renewal of <br />contracts with the Cities of Spring Park and Minnetonka Beach at <br />the rates and in the format outlined in Attachment A. Motion, <br />Ayes 5, Nays 0, Motion passed. <br />MARINA LICENSING - <br />RESOLUTION #2567, #2568, #2569 AND #2570* <br />Councilmember Goetten stated she felt it was important to <br />have a Marina Licensing Committee and would be happy to be part <br />of the Board or Committee. Administrator Bernhardson suggested <br />bringing that issue to the January 23, 1989 meeting for <br />a recommendation. <br />It was moved by Councilmember Goetten, seconded by <br />Mayor Grabek, to approve the 1989 Marina Licenses as submitted by <br />staff. Motion, Ayes 5, Nays 0, Motion passed. <br />WAYZATA COUNTRY CLUB 1989 LIQUOR LICENSE* <br />It was moved by Mayor Grabek, seconded by Councilmember <br />Peterson, to approve the 1989 liquor license for the Wayzata <br />Country Club. Motion, Ayes 5, Nays 0, Motion passed. <br />. POLICE FACILITIES CONTRACT* <br />It was moved by Mayor Grabek, - seconded by Councilmember <br />Peterson, to approve the Police facilities 1989 lease agreement <br />with the City of Long Lake. Motion, Ayes 5, Nays 0, Motion <br />passed. <br />11 <br />
