Goetten also asked that two joint meetings <br />with the Council and Planning Commission be scheduled in 1989. <br />Mayor Grabek directed staff to determine two appropriate dates <br />for joint informational meetings. <br />UNCOLLECTED NSF CHECKS - RESOLUTION #2549* <br />It was moved by Councilmember Nettles, seconded by <br />Councilmember Goetten, to adopt Resolution #2549, declaring <br />certain N.S.F. checks uncollectable and removing them from the <br />City accounts effective November 30, 1988. Motion, Ayes =S, <br />Nays =O, Motion passed. <br />CONTRACT RENEWAL - POLICE CONTRACT <br />(LONG LAKE, SPRING PARK AND MINNETONKA BEACH)* <br />It was moved by Councilmember Nettles, seconded by <br />Councilmember Goetten, to approve the individual contracts with <br />Minnetonka Beach, Spring Park, and Long Lake for police service <br />for 1989. Motion, Ayes =S, Nays =O, Motion passed. <br />CONTRACT RENEWAL -FIRE CONTRACTS <br />(LONG LAKE, MAPLE PLAIN AND WAYZATA) <br />Councilmember Peterson questioned why the City of Mound was <br />• not included. City Administrator Bernhardson replied that <br />renewal had previously been approved on October 10, 1988. <br />It was moved by Councilmember Callahan, seconded by <br />Councilmember Peterson, to approve the individual contracts with <br />Long Lake, Maple Plain, and Wayzata for fire protection for 1989. <br />Motion, Ayes =5, Nays =O, Motion passed. <br />ANIMAL CONTROL CONTRACTS <br />(LONG LAKE, SPRING PARK AND MINNETONKA BEACH)* <br />It was moved by Councilmember Nettles, seconded by- <br />Councilmember Goetten, to approve the individual contracts with <br />Long Lake, Spring Park, and Minnetonka Beach for animal control <br />for 1989. Motion, Ayes =5, Nays =O, Motion passed. <br />ADMINISTRATOR'S INFORMATION <br />Councilmember Goetten questioned the need to purchase snow <br />removal equipment for the sidewalks along County Road 15. Public <br />Works Director Gerhardson clarified that the City would need to <br />purchase an attachment for equipment the City already has. <br />It was moved by Mayor Grabek, seconded by Councilmember <br />Nettles, to accept the City Administrator's Information <br />regarding: County Road 15; MWCC Interceptor; Recycling Program; <br />Highway 12; Minnetrista /Hennepin County Park Reserve Lawsuit and <br />Crystal Bay Road.
