Council directed the Assessor to review these <br />properties. <br />6. Newell Weed, 1385 Orono Lane <br />P.I.D. 02- 117 -23 34 0003. Mr. Weed had requested a <br />revaluation previous to the Board's meeting. Council <br />Directed the Assessor to review this property. <br />7. Gerald and Barbara Nelson, 1629 Bohns Point Road <br />P.I.D. 17- 117 -23 11 0005. Mr. Nelson stated he would like <br />a review of his property. Council directed the Assessor to <br />review this property. <br />8. Gordon H. Ritz, 1080 West Ferndale Road <br />P.I.D. 02- 117 -23 43 0011. Mr. Ritz stated he was <br />concerned about the valuation of this parcel, which is <br />across the road from his homestead and is his lake access. <br />He stated the valuation went from $1,000 in 1987 to $30,000 <br />in 1988. Mr. Wilde stated he would like to know if this <br />property is independent from the homestead parcel or if in <br />fact it could never be sold as a separate parcel. Council <br />directed the Assessor to contact the City Zoning staff and <br />to review this property. <br />9. Alvin Glover, vacant lot on Casco Point Road <br />Mr. Glover stated this lot was unbuildable and requested a <br />lower market value. Council directed the Assessor to review <br />this property. <br />10. Mark Raveling, 130 Brown Road South <br />P.I.D. 03- 117 -23 34 0051. fir. Raveling left his name, <br />address and phone number for the Assessor. Council directed <br />the Assessor to contact Mr. Raveling and review his <br />property. <br />11. John Quam, 3760 Northern Avenue <br />P.I.D. 17- 117 -23 33 0087. Mr. Quam requested a <br />revaluation. Council directed the Assessor to review this <br />property. <br />12. Paul E. Taylor, 3883 Cherry Avenue <br />P.I.D. 08- 117 -23 33 0087. Mr. Taylor stated he found it <br />confusing to live in the City of Orono, being in the Mound <br />School District and having a mailing address of Mound. <br />Mayor Grabek stated that situation was not uncommon in this <br />area and that Orono had tried to get an Orono zip code, but <br />was unsuccessful. City Administrator stated Mr. Taylor <br />should contact the City Clerk for information regarding the <br />school district lines. <br />13. Gary Eklof, 1965 Fagerness Point Road <br />P.I.D. 18 -117 23 14 0009. Mr. Eklof stated his house had <br />no basement, was the worst looking house of the street and <br />
