MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING HELD MARCH 28, 1988 <br />• CITY /SCHOOL INTERVENTION AGREEMENTS <br />Councilmember Peterson suggested that the public be made <br />aware of this intervention service by publication in the <br />local newspaper. <br />It was moved by Councilmember Peterson, seconded by <br />Councilmember Goetten, to accept the information and <br />extend their thanks to the Police Department for <br />executing agreements with Westonka and Wayzata school <br />districts with the work done by Chief Kilbo in helping <br />the Hennepin County Attorney's office in formulating the <br />model agreement. Motion, Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />STEP INCREASE - LARRY TOMCHECK* <br />It was moved by Councilmember Sime, seconded by <br />Councilmember Peterson, that Council approve the step <br />increase for Larry Tomcheck effective April 7, 1988 from <br />$12.129 per hour to $13.645 per hour in accordance with <br />the L.E.L.S. bargaining unit labor agreement. Motion, <br />Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />STEP RATE LONGEVITY - MIKE KIRNYCZUK* <br />It was moved by Councilmember Sime, seconded by <br />Councilmember Peterson, that the Orono Council approves <br />the longevity step increase for Mike Kirnyczuk, <br />effective February 15, 1988, from $15.615 per hour to <br />• $15.919 per hour in accordance with the L.E.L.S. <br />bargaining unit labor agreement. Motion, Ayes 4, Nays <br />0. <br />• <br />HISTORICAL BUILDINGS* <br />It was moved by Councilmember Sime, seconded by <br />Councilmember Peterson, that the Orono Council accept <br />the information regarding Historical Buildings and the <br />Westonka Hennepin Pioneer Museum.
