MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING HELD NOVEMBER 23, 1987 <br />COUNTY 15 FINAL PLANS CONTINUED <br />safety of children on the sidewalk and their <br />liabilities. She is also concerned with the added <br />expense of sidewalk snow removal and losing landscaping <br />and parking area at her Casco Run Office building. <br />1988 FEE SCHEDULE <br />Mayor Grabek noted that the City is reviewing the <br />possibility of maintaining the sidewalk snow removal. <br />There were no further comments from the public. <br />It was moved by Mayor Grabek, seconded by Councilmember <br />Sime, to accept the final project plans as presented <br />contingent upon review of the agreement by the City <br />Attorney; and table the preliminary financing plan until <br />the December 14, 1987 Council meeting. Motion, Ayes <br />5,Nays 0. <br />Council requested a copy of the 1987 Fee Schedule for <br />comparison to the proposed 1988 Fee Schedule. <br />It was moved by Councilmember Sime, seconded by <br />Councilmember Callahan, that Council acknowledge receipt <br />of proposed 1988 Fee Schedule and table until <br />December 14, 1987 the final approval of 1988 Fee <br />Schedule Ordinance together with the summary ordinance <br />for publication. Motion, Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />TAX FORFEITED PROPERTIES* <br />RESOLUTIONS #2310 AND #2311 <br />It was moved by Councilmember Sime, seconded by <br />Councilmember Callahan, that the Council adopt <br />Resolutions #2310 and #2311 regarding parcels of tax <br />forfeited properties together with directing staff to <br />explore the park usage of these properties. Motion, <br />Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />1988 ANIMAL CONTROL CONTRACTS* <br />It was moved by Councilmember Sime, seconded by <br />Councilmember Callahan, that the City of Orono agrees to <br />enter into contracts with the cities of Spring Park and <br />Minnetonka Beach for animal control services for 1988. <br />Motion, Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />UNCOLLECTED N.S.F. CHECKS AND CHARGE SALES - 1986 -1987* <br />RESOLUTION #2312 <br />It was moved by Councilmember Sime, seconded by <br />Councilmember Callahan, to adopt Resolution #2312 <br />declaring certain N.S.F. checks and charges <br />uncollectable and removing them from the City accounts <br />effective October 31, 1987.
