MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING HELD SEPTEMBER 28, 1987 <br />41174 ANDERSON CONTINUED <br />It was moved by Mayor Grabek, seconded by Councilmember <br />Sime, to adopt Resolution #2269 approving the <br />preliminary subdivision per staff recommendation. <br />Motion, Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />#1197 WARD FERRELL /C. WICKS <br />3045/3085 WATERTOWN ROAD <br />FILING OF CORRECTED LEGAL DESCRIPTIONS <br />RESOLUTION #2270 <br />City Administrator Bernhardson explained the request <br />involving a corrective action to offset incorrect legal <br />descriptions of properties originally created within <br />Auditors Subdivision No. 230. Staff and Planning <br />Commission recommends approval of the filing of the <br />corrective survey that would redefine the legal <br />descriptions of Lots 3, 4, and 5 Auditors Subdivision <br />No. 230. <br />Attorney Arlo VandeVegte was present representing Carl <br />Wicks. <br />It was moved by Councilmember Sime, seconded by <br />Councilmember Goetten, to adopt Resolution #2271 <br />approving corrective legal descriptions and resolve of <br />certain title irregularities for Lots 3, 4, and 5 <br />Auditors Subdivision 230 as proposed. Motion, Ayes 4, <br />Nays 0. <br />NOTE: Councilmember Peterson arrived at this point in the meeting. <br />ENGINEER'S REPORT: <br />WOODHILL AVENUE FEASIBILITY STUDY <br />City Administrator noted the feasibility study submitted <br />by City Engineer Cook which includes two alternatives <br />and a recommendation for assessment of the project. <br />This feasibility study is for Council information only <br />with no recommendation for approval at this time. <br />City Engineer Cook reviewed the two alternatives for <br />upgrading Woodhill Avenue consisting of a 24' wide width <br />with a bituminous curb. The project costs are proposed <br />to be assessed to the 3 benefiting property owners <br />abuting Woodhill Avenue and the new lots in Woodhill <br />Ridge on a unit basis. <br />John McDowell noted that the feasibility study consists <br />of a 24' paved width whereas Council approved a 22' <br />paved width for Woodhill Avenue. <br />10 <br />
