St. Edward the Confessor Episcopal Church
Plumbing
Plan No. 050483
Page 2
August 19, 2004
4. Faucets equipped with threaded hose connections must be provided with approved backflow preventers. This "
shall include the faucet for the janitor's sink.
5. The vent pipe opening from a soil or waste pipe may not be below the weir of the trap. The fixture drain lines
must connect to the vertical sanitary drain with a tee connection rather than a wye connection as indicated in
the waste and vent riser diagrams (see Minnesota Rules, part 4715.2620> subpart 2).
6. The copper water distribution piping must meet ASTM Standard B 88 (see Minnesota Rules, part 4715.0520).
The plumbing specification list on Sheet No. P1 (Item 3F)incorrectly refers to ASTM Standard 388 for water
distribution piping.
7. Pipe hanger and support spacing shall conform to the requirements specified in Minnesota Rules,
part 4715.1430.
8. The plans and specitications were prepared by a licensed master plumber. The plumber who has prepared the
plans is the only one that can use the plans for construction. If another plumber is contracted to install the
plumbing, they must submit their own plans and specifications for the project.
NOTE(S):
1. The scope of this project consists of the remodeling of an existing building. The plumbing installation includes
water closets, urinals, lavatories, kitchen sinks, water coolers, a mop sink, a water heater, a sump pump, and
floor drains.
2. This facility will be served by existing municipal sewer and water service connections.
Authorization for construction in accordance with the approved plans may be withdrawn if construction is not
undertaken within a period of two years. The fact that the plans have been approved does not necessarily mean that
recoinmendations or requirements for change will not be made at some later time when changed conditions,
additional information, or advanced knowledge make improvements necessary.
Ap roved:
Todd Schaefer
Public Health Engineer
Environmental Health Services Section
P.O.
