MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING HELD JUNE 8, 1987 <br />#1122 BIG ISLAND CONTINUED <br />Mr. Wisdorf requested tabling any action to allow the <br />Board to review the City's recommendation. He also <br />requested clarification & direction from the City <br />regarding the development plan that the City required. <br />Zoning Administrator Mabusth explained the Planning <br />Commission's recommendation to the Council that the <br />Planning Commission would ask that all hazardous <br />conditions be removed prior to implementation or <br />approval of the master development plan. <br />Mayor Grabek requested that the Board now submit a plan <br />of projects that will be completed by October 1987. <br />Mr. Wisdorf stated they will submit a realistic <br />guesstimate of what they intend to accomplish. <br />It was moved by Mayor Grabek, seconded by Councilmember <br />Sime, to table this matter per applicant's request. <br />Motion, Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />#1128 RAINEY ANDERSON <br />780 OLD CRYSTAL BAY ROAD SOUTH <br />SUBDIVISION <br />PRELIMINARY PLAT APPROVAL <br />Rainey Anderson, Representative Herbert Leffler, and <br />Surveyor Gary Gabriel were present for this matter. <br />City Administrator Bernhardson explained the request for <br />a 4 -lot plat with potential for future divisions <br />totalling 8 2 -acre lots. He reviewed the issues of <br />access location onto Old Crystal Bay Rd.; whether there <br />is a need to provide a future access corridor to the <br />Kumlin plat to the north. <br />Mr. Leffler stated that they essentially agree with <br />staff's recommendation with exception to Outlot C. They <br />would prefer Out lot C to remain as -is or joined with Lot <br />1. Because preliminary plat approval is pending <br />additional septic testing information and there is a <br />possibility of an additional lot to be platted at this <br />time, he requested that the entire review be tabled <br />until the June 22nd Council meeting. <br />It was moved by Councilmember Sime, seconded by <br />Councilmember Goetten, to table this application until <br />the June 22, 1987 Council meeting. Motion, Ayes 4, Nays <br />0. <br />Councilmember Goetten requested that the Kumlin <br />subdivision information be shown with this application <br />for a more accurate review. <br />L <br />
