Provide written response to the Goals and Policies for Environmental Protection and <br /> � Natural Resource Management. The intent is to establish the property's ecological <br /> � connections both within Orono and as part of the regional ecological system. The <br /> � summary of items addressed is in Appendix A, Conservation Design Checkfist. <br /> � 2. a. The property has four basic views (in Appendix B) from Wolferton Place as follows: <br /> � a. At SW lot comer looking NW where disturbed grassland is seen and several <br /> trees around the home which is painted in a beige neutral color which blends with <br /> � the grassland for a positive view. <br /> , b: From 4575 Wolferton Place driveway looking NNW which shows disturbed <br /> grassland and several planted white spruce, a native species which is another <br /> � positive view. <br /> ' c. From 4550 Wolferton Place driveway looking SE which shows the beige neutral <br /> , colored house surrounded by a Kentucky bluegrass lawn and disturbed <br /> ,, grassland on the east bordered by planted white spruce, another positive view. <br /> � d. From 4550 Wolforton Place driveway loaking NE at the west tree stand <br /> ' dominated by Quaking Aspen, and the East Tree stand in the background <br /> ., dominated by Box Elder, with Kentucky bluegrass lawn in the front, another <br /> � positive view. ' <br /> ; b. Corridor enclosure " <br /> a. Along McCulley Road on the NW of the property there is an edged enclosure <br /> 1 which shields the property with a solid wall of grassed vegetation and trees. <br /> ; b. Along Wolferton Place there is an open enclosure with iong views beyond <br /> y the right-of-way yielding positive views. <br /> � • <br /> ' c.
