- PC Exhf bit F <br /> Sec.78-570.-Yard and setback requirements. <br /> Within any RS seasonal recreational district, the following yard and setback requirements shall be <br /> observed for all new structures and for any addition or alteration to any existing structure, whether <br /> temporary, seasonal or permanerrt: <br /> (1) Minimum setback from lakeshare, all structutes, induding decks, fences, retaining walls, wells, <br /> on-site sewage treatment systems and land alteration of any kind, 75 feet. <br /> (2) Minimum setback from wetlands shall be: <br /> a. Wells and sewage treatment systems, 75 feet. <br /> b. All structures, Eand afteratlon or hard cover of any kind, shall meet#he setback requirements <br /> established within artide XI of chapter 78 of this Code (the wetlands protection element of <br /> the Zoning Code). <br /> (3) Minimum setback from platted street rights-of-way, all strvctures. 30 feet. <br /> (4) Minimum setbadc from intemal side or rear property line shall be: <br /> a. All structures on lots 200 feet or more in width, 50 feet. <br /> b. All structures on existing record Iots 100 feet or more in width but less than 200 feet in width, <br /> 30 feet. <br /> c. Afl structures on existing record Iots less than 100 feet in width,ten feet. <br /> (5} Minimum setback any building to any other, ten feet. <br /> (Note: The following has been edited by Staff so as to to include only Solar <br /> Energy System references for ease of review.) <br /> Sec.78-1379.-Alternative energy systems. <br /> {a) Scope. Section 78-1379 applies to altemative energy systems in all zoning districts. <br /> (b) Purpose and inter►t. The purpose and intent of this section is to establish standards and procedures <br /> bywhich the installatfon and operation of alternative energy systems shall be regulated within the city. <br /> The cfty finds that it is in the public interest to encourage alternative energy systems that have a <br /> posftfve impact on energy productian and conservation whfle not having an adverse Impact on the <br /> community. <br /> (c) Definitions_ For the purpose of section 7&1379,the following d�nitions shal!apply unless the context <br /> ciearly indicates or requires a different meanfng. <br /> (1) Genera!defln/tions. <br /> Accessory. A system designed as a secondary use to existing bulldings or facElities,wherein the <br /> power generated is used primarily for on-site consumption. <br /> Altemafive energy system.A ground source heat pump,wind energy conversion system,hydronic <br /> furnace or solar energy system. <br /> (3) So/ar energy sysfems definlifons. <br /> Building-integrated solar energy system. A solar energy system that is an integral part of a <br /> principal or accessory building, rather than a separate mechanical device, replacing or <br /> substituting for an architecturaf or structural component of the buiEding including, but not limited <br /> to, photovoltaic or hot water solar systems contained within roofing materiafs,windows,skylights <br /> and awnings. <br /> Page 1 <br />
