Plat Map <br /> Background &Summary <br /> The applicant recently purchased the home at 4725 North Shore Drive. In the fall of <br /> 2010 the lake side slope of the applicant's property experienced a catastrophic failure. <br /> Several hundred cubic yards of earth and all of the vegetation slid off of the slope and <br /> landed in the lake below. Technically, in order to conduct earth moving activities to <br /> repair the slope a CUP is required. In an effort to expedite the restoration of the slope <br /> City staff, the City engineer and representatives from the MCWD have been working with <br /> the applicant and the applicant's engineer and contractor to design a restoration plan . <br /> that meets engineering standards for this type of location, soil, slope, etc. The applicant <br /> has provided a plan which has been deemed acceptable to the City and has been <br /> allowed to proceed with the restoration. <br /> Staff Recommendation <br /> Planning Staff recommends approval of the after-the-fact CUP for the lake yard slope <br /> restoration project. <br /> � <br /> I <br />
