Housing for dependent persons including personal nursing <br /> care,meal preparation in a common dining hall,hygiene services, laundry, etc. <br /> Golden Valley: • <br /> "Nursing Home (Rest Home)" -A building having accommodations where care is provided for <br /> two or more invalid,infirmed, aged convalescent or physically disabled persons that are not of <br /> � the immediate family; but not including hospitals, clinics, sanitariums or similar institutions. <br /> Edina: <br /> "Convalescent Home". A building or group of buildings licensed by the Minnesota Department <br /> of Public Welfare for the care of children,the aged or infirm, or a place of rest and care for those <br /> suffering physical or mental disorders. Hospitals, clinics,maternity care homes, and other <br /> buildings or parts of buildings containing surgical equipment are not included. ` <br /> "Nursing Home". See Convalescent Home. <br /> Bloomington: <br /> "Nursing home/adult care home" -A residential facility licensed by the Minnesota Department <br /> of Health(DOI�where individualized home care aide services or home management services <br /> are provided to residents either by the management or by providers under contract with the <br /> management; a facility for aged, chronically ill, or incurable persons licensed by the Minnesota. <br /> Department of Health providing nursing care and related medical services. � <br /> "Rest home (nursing home)" -A private home for the care of children or the aged or infirm or a <br /> place of rest for those suffering bodily disorders. Such home does not contain equipment for <br /> . surgical caxe or for the treatment of disease or injury nor does it include maternity care or care of <br /> mental illnesses. Its minimum accommodation is six persons. <br />
