MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING HELD AUGUST 11, 1986 <br />VANEECRHOUT WATER CONTINUED <br />It was moved by Councilmember Frahm, seconded by <br />Councilmember Adams, to approve the request for water <br />connection to the Long Lake municipal system for 650 <br />North Brown Road. Motion, Ayes 3, Nays 1. Mayor Butler <br />voted nay stating she ageed with staff's points. <br />BALDUR PARR ROAD - SHORELINE EROSION <br />It was moved by Councilmember Frahm, seconded by <br />Councilmember Adams, to accept staff recommendation not <br />to participate in the funding of the rip rapping of the <br />property along Baldur Park Road as it abuts the private <br />road. Motion, Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />CRYSTAL BAY PROJECT - <br />FINAL INSPECTION SEPTEMBER 17, 1986, 10 :00 A.M. <br />It was moved by Councilmember Frahm, seconded by Mayor <br />Butler, to acknowledge the date of September 17, 1986 as <br />the established tentative date for final inspection for <br />the Crystal Bay sewer project. Motion, Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />STRATEGIC PLANNING - COUNCIL <br />It was moved by Mayor Butler, seconded by Councilmember <br />Adams, to establish October 6, 1986 at 7:30 P.M. as the <br />meeting date for the Council to undertake strategic <br />planning process in advance of the 1987 budget. Motion, <br />Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />BUILDING INSPECTOR SALARY ADJUSTMENT <br />It was moved by Mayor Butler, seconded by Councilmember <br />Frahm, to approve the corrected temporary 10% increase <br />for Mr. Jacobs from $26,354 to 28,989, a temporary <br />increase from 1 June 1986 through 31 December 1986 for <br />added responsibilities for the Wayzata Inspections <br />Contract. Motion, Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />SALARY INCREASE - MAYOR AND COUNCIL <br />ORDINANCE NO. 23 SECOND SERIES <br />It was moved by Mayor Butler, seconded by Councilmember <br />Callahan, to adopt Ordinance No. 23 Second Series <br />approving the salary increases for Mayor and <br />Councilmembers effective January 1, 1987. Motion, Ayes <br />4, Nays 0. <br />APRIL -JUNE 1986 2ND QUARTER LIQUOR REPORT* <br />It was moved by Councilmember Frahm, seconded by <br />Councilmember Adams, to accept the information for the <br />second quarter liquor results and that the item be <br />placed on the August 25, 1986 agenda for further <br />discussion.
