"11 <br />5. Timothy Schoen, 41 Willow Drive - Property I.D. 33- 118 -23 44 <br />00131. Mr. Schoen stated this is a new house and the 1986 market <br />value has been placed at $111,700. He stated that the house cost <br />$82,500 to build. Erickson stated he would review the property. <br />6. Grant Wenkstern owner of Lakeview Golf Of Minnetonka, Inc., <br />710 North Shore Drive - Property I.D.'s 06- 117 -23 32 0002, 07- <br />117-23 12 0001, 06- 117 -23 33 0005, 06- 117 -23 33 0007 and 06 -117- <br />23 34 0002. Mr. Wenkstern wanted to know how the golf courses <br />were valued. He stated that Hennepin County Assessor's office <br />had set standards to revalue all the golf courses in the County. <br />He stated that his property.had received an increase of 132 %. <br />Mayor Butler requested the definition of Recreational Value from <br />the Assessor. Erickson stated he felt the issue of Recreational <br />Value should be settled in the Courts. <br />7. Karen Ziminski, 1095 Brown Road North - Property I.D. 27 -118- <br />23 31 0006. Mrs. Ziminski stated the property was purchased in <br />April of 1985 for $275,000, the 1986 market value is now <br />$291,100. Dave Wilde stated he had reviewed the property in 1985 <br />after an abatement had been filed and he would review the 1986 <br />valuation. <br />8. Patrick Wolfe, 2871 Casco Point Road - Property I.D. 20 -117- <br />23 31 0056. Mr. Wolfe stated he had removed an old house and <br />constructed a new house. He stated that there is a public <br />easement to the lake adjoining his property which is a detriment <br />to his property. He noted that there should be some adjustment <br />in the value because of this problem. Dave Wilde stated that up <br />to a 5% depreciation would be allowable on the total value in <br />this situation. <br />Council stated they would adopt a 5% depreciation on the total <br />value of the property and will consider other comparable <br />property's valuation. <br />9. Bill Wyatt, 4235 Sixth Avenue North - Property I.D. 31- 118 -23 <br />12 0013. -Dave Wilde stated this property is located in the 1/4 <br />of the City that was physically inspected this year and that <br />construction on this property has been incomplete for a number of <br />years and now that it is completed explains bringing it up to <br />full value. <br />10. Marion Gray, 2065 Webber Hills Road - Property I.D. 03 -117- <br />23 34 0026. Requested a revalualtion of her property. <br />11. Scott Goldsmith, 265 Old Crystal Bay North - Property I.D.. <br />33- 118 -23 31 0011. Mr. Goldsmith stated his property consisted <br />of 8 acres with partial construction on the property. He stated <br />that he felt the partial construction was valued too high. <br />12. Al Hi lde, Jr., 220 Northgate Road - Property I.D. 36- 118 -23 <br />41 0051. The Board noted that they had received a letter from <br />Mr. Hi lde regarding his valuation. The Council instructed the <br />Assessor to contact Mr. Hilde and report back to the Council. <br />2 <br />
