MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING HELD FEBRUARY 24, 1986 <br />1986 JOINT USE DOCK LICENSES <br />A) 3155 NORTH SHORE DRIVE - <br />RHODE /ENLOW /LINDAHL <br />RESOLUTION #1930 <br />Susan Enlow and Sarah Lindahl were present for this <br />matter. <br />City Administrator Bernhardson explained the request for <br />a joint use dock license to serve the properties located <br />at 3155 North Shore Drive, 3185 North Shore Drive, and <br />1406 Bohn's Point Road. He noted that the applicant's <br />may need to obtain a variance from the LMCD to permit <br />three boats at one dock, which staff will direct them to <br />do. He noted that staff recommends approval. <br />It was moved by Councilmember Frahm, seconded by <br />Councilmember Grabek, that the City Council adopt <br />Resolution #1930 approving a Joint Use Dock License to <br />the owners of property located at 3155 North Shore <br />Drive, 3185 North Shore Drive, and 1406 Bohn's Point <br />Road for the period of January 1, 1986 to December 31, <br />1986. Motion, Ayes 3, Nays 0. <br />-f... <br />B) BIG ISLAND VETERAN'S CAMP <br />RESOLUTION #1931 <br />City Administrator Bernhardson explained the request for <br />a joint use dock license for the Big Island Veteran's <br />Camp for a total of 14 slips. Staff recommends approval <br />of 14 temporary slips because they do not possess the <br />appropriate conditional use permit, at this time, to <br />operate a camp. <br />It was moved by Acting Mayor Adams, seconded by <br />Councilmember Grabek, that the City Council adopt <br />Resolution #1931 approving a a Joint Use Dock License to <br />the Board of Governers, Big Island Veteran's Camp, on a <br />transient basis contingent upon application of the <br />appropriate Conditional Use Permit being made. Motion, <br />Ayes 3, Nays 0. <br />#842 ROBERT ZIMMERRMAN <br />3415 CRYSTAL BAY ROAD <br />VARIANCE <br />RESOLUTION #1932 <br />Bob Zimmerman was present for this matter. <br />City Administrator Bernhardson explained the request for <br />a hardcover variance of 3.5%, a 2.2% increase over the <br />present 26.3% in the 75 -250' zone, totaling 28.5 %. He <br />noted that this was a considerable decrease from the <br />previous request. <br />
