'MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING HELD FEBRUARY 24, 1986 <br />PARR COMMISSION - ORONO GOLF COURSE continued <br />Bill Sime, 2106 Shadywood Road, was present and <br />suggested that the City consider the possiblity of <br />private ownership and operated as a public golf course. <br />It was moved by Acting Mayor Adams, seconded by <br />Councilmember Frahm, to accept the Park Commission's <br />report and direct the Park Commission and staff to <br />proceed with further study. Motion, Ayes 3, Nays 0. <br />LAKE MINNETONKA CONSERVATION DISTRICT REPORT: <br />LMCD representative, Jo Ellen Hurr, was present. <br />AMENDED DOCK RESOLUTION* <br />It was moved by Councilmember Frahm, seconded by <br />Councilmember Grabek, that the Council accept the <br />information as provided thanking L.M.C.D. for addressing <br />the City of Orono's concerns relating to the issue of <br />residential dock limitation. Motion, Ayes 3, Nays 0. <br />LAKE MINNETONKA VIOLATION PROSECUTIONS <br />Jo Ellen Hurr encouraged the City to support the fact <br />that LMCD is the best means and body to deal with <br />violations on the lake. She stated that they do not <br />anticipate any loss of revenues from this. <br />It'was moved by Councilmember Grabek, seconded by <br />Councilmember Frahm, that the Council concur with <br />L.M.C.D.'s direction to take over prosecution efforts on <br />the lake. Additionally it encourages L.M.C.D. to <br />address the issues of municipal enforcement and writing <br />of violations under L.M.C.D. code. Motion, Ayes 3, Nays <br />0. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION COMMENTS <br />There were no comments from the Planning Commission at <br />this time. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />William Sime, 2106 Shadywood Road, addressed the Council <br />from a prepared text (copy attached to these minutes) <br />which he noted would be published in the Pioneer so that <br />the residents of Orono would have an opportunity to read <br />his comments regarding the events that led to him not <br />being re- appointed on the Planning Commission. <br />ZONING ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT: <br />#997 EUGENE G.
