Ethier <br /> MSC Manager/Postmaster <br /> Minneapolis, MN 55401-9998 <br /> A building inspection was conducted on March 14, 1985 at the Crystal Bay, MN Post <br /> Office through wnich the following list of deficiencies and recommendations were <br /> identified. The responsibility for corrective action is indicated by paragraph <br /> heading. <br /> Lessar <br /> 1. The front storm windows are in need of repair due to broken latches which must <br /> be replaced. The top sections are presently held from falling by wooden dowel rods <br /> � on the outside, preventing secure locking. <br /> 2. The rear vestibule door binds badly in the jamb due to sagged hinges and jamb. <br /> Jamb must be adequately reanchored and hinges readjusted. <br /> 3. The rear vestibule door knob and lockset are 4�orn out and cannot always be <br /> opened from inside., Replace immediately. Fire and safety hazard. <br /> 4. Door to furnace room must be planed at the top to allow proper closing due to a <br /> sagged door jamb. <br /> 5. Remove scrub trees along the rear wall of building. <br /> '6. Rear exterior door is weathering and should be painted and refinished to prevent <br /> further deterioration. <br /> 7. The rear security light was not functional when tried and must be checked and <br /> repaired if necessary. <br /> USPS <br /> 1. All floor tile should be power scrubbed and waxed. Tile surface is in poor <br /> condition and has not been waxed in years. <br /> 2. Install a new digital night setback thermostat. <br /> 3. Install cover over the window air conditioner. <br /> 4. The rear dock door needs new weatherstripping and brush type bottom sweep. <br /> BM EO <br /> 1.
