ORONO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />MINUTES FOR APRIL 12,1999 <br />( #11) #2471 Independent School District #278 - Continued <br />• <br />Jabbour said that is correct. <br />• <br />Kelley asked if the lighting at the High School will be changed. <br />Lawson said they could take a look at the lighting at the High School and see what it would <br />cost. <br />Kelley said he would like the lighting in both parking lots to be the same. <br />Jabbour complemented the school district staff and the City staff on their cooperation to work <br />out the issues. <br />Lawson thanked the City Council. <br />Moorse suggested a condition that would allow the City to review the project in several years <br />to make sure everything is working. <br />Jabbour stated the time period for review should be four years. <br />( #11A) Conditional Use Permit for Middle School at 800 Old Crystal Bay Road North - <br />Resolution No. 4269. <br />Kelley moved, Flint seconded, a motion to approve Application #2471, Independent <br />Orono School District #278, and adopt RESOLUTION NO. 4269, Granting a <br />Conditional Use Permit for Middle School at 800 Old Crystal Bay Road North for <br />Orono Independent School District #278 per Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.28, <br />Subd. 3 and Section 10.03, Subd. 19 -21, and Granting a Height Limit Variance from 30' <br />to 42', subject to the agreed upon modifications and review in four years. VOTE: Ayes <br />4, Nays 0. <br />( #11B) Variance and Conditional Use Permit Amendment for Orono High School - 795 <br />Old Crystal Bay Road North - Resolution No. 4270. <br />Kelley moved, Sansevere seconded, a motion to approve Application #2471, <br />Independent Orono School District #278, High School, and adopt RESOLUTION NO. <br />4270, Granting Variances and a Conditional Use Permit Amendment to Municipal <br />Zoning Code Section 10.28, Subdivisions 3 and 5, and a Conditional Use Permit for <br />Land Alteration, Section 10.03, Subd. 19-21, subject to the agreed upon modifications <br />and review in four years.
