Photographs � <br /> Background <br /> This is a lot in Tonkaview Gardens, which was platted in 1921. An 1898 map of Hennepin <br /> County shows a road in the approximate location of Tonkaview Lane. Garden Lane was <br /> dedicated by the Tonkaview Gardens plat but was not improved unti12000. <br /> The house was constructed in 1990 to replace an older house. The detached garage was <br /> retained. Its age is unknown. It shows up on the oldest aerial photos in the City's <br /> possession, from the mid 1950's. Until an attached garage was added to the house in 2000 <br /> this garage was the only gaxage on the property. It is constructed of concrete block but has <br /> wood siding to match the house. The applicant proposes to construct a gable roof with the <br /> ridge parallel to Garden Court. The pitch of the roof would be 10:12,the same pitch as the <br />
