CITY of ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />M <br />3042 <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING <br />A VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE NO. 96, SECOND SERIES, <br />AND APPROVING A METES AND BOUNDS SUBDIVISION <br />OF A LOT LINE REARRANGEMENT <br />FOR PROPERTIES LOCATED AT <br />4345 AND 4365 NORTH SHORE DRIVE <br />FILE #1695 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation <br />organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orono (hereinafter <br />"City Council") has adopted subdivision regulations for the orderly, <br />economic and s4fe development of land within the City; and <br />• WHEREAS, on August 26, 1991, the City Council adopted <br />Ordinance No. 96, Second Series, an ordinance establishing an interim <br />moratorium on the granting of land subdivisions that have not received <br />preliminary approval from the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the application for <br />a subdivision of a lot line rearrangement by Thomas and Alice Stuck of <br />4365 North Shore Drive and John Bauer of 4345 North Shore Drive <br />(hereinafter "the subdividers") of properties legally described as <br />follows: <br />A. The North 125 feet of the West half of Lot 6, and the East <br />half of Lot 5, -Block 18, "Saga Hill Revised, Hennepin Co <br />Minn.". <br />B. Lots 7, 8 and the East half of Lot 6; ALSO that part of the <br />West half of Lot 6 lying South of the North 125 feet <br />thereof, Block 18, "Saga Hill Revised, Hennepin Co <br />Minn."; and <br />WHEREAS, the subdividers have requested a variance to <br />Ordinance No. 96, Second Series to allow the proposed subdivision of a <br />lot line rearrangement to proceed; and <br />is Page 1 of 3 <br />
