CITYof ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. 3035 <br />A RESOLTTION DESIGNATING A PROJECT REPRESENTATIVE <br />AND AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL OF A <br />CLEAN WATER PARTNERSHIP GRANT APPLICATION FOR <br />LONG LAKE, HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />WHEREAS, concerns have been identified regarding the <br />water quality of Long Lake and any existing or potential impacts <br />on lake resources and lake use; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono wishes to implement <br />appropriate actions to restore or protect the water quality of <br />Long Lake, <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Orono that it hereby <br />agrees to provide in-kind services for the Long Lake Phase II <br />Implementation Project in the form of participation in a public <br />® information/education committee; and designates Loren Larson of <br />James M. Montgomery, Consulting Engineers, Inc. as the Project <br />Representative for the Long Lake Implementation project's <br />proposed Clean Water Partnership Phase II project Implementation <br />Plan. The value of the above stated in-kind services is <br />estimated to total $18,500.00 for the five year project duration. <br />The Project Representative shall have the authority to <br />represent the City of Orono in all matters that do not <br />specifically require action by the City Council. The Minnesota <br />Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) shall direct Clean Water <br />Partnership Application correspondence and Clean Water <br />Partnership Project correspondence to the Project Representative <br />and shall consider correspondence from and action on the part of <br />the Project Representative as representations and actions taken <br />by the City Council. <br />0 <br />
