��kESH0 <br />CITY of ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. 3073 <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING <br />A VARIANCE TO <br />MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br />SECTION 10.03, SUBDIVISION 12 <br />FILE #1710 <br />WHEREAS, Richard Bloomquist (hereinafter "the applicant") <br />has an interest in the property located at 3333 Shoreline Drive within <br />the City of Orono (hereinafter "City") and legally described as <br />follows: <br />Refer to Exhibit A attached (hereinafter "the property"); <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has applied to the City for <br />a variance to Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.03, Subdivision 12 to <br />permit an accessory storage structure to remain 1 1/2 to 2' from the <br />• principal structure where a 10' separation setback is required. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br />Minnesota: <br />FINDINGS <br />1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #1710. <br />2. The property is located in the B-3, Commercial Shopping <br />Center Zoning District, requiring 2 acres in area. The <br />property consists of approximately 2 acres. <br />3. The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application on <br />January 21, 1992 and recommended approval of the proposed <br />variance based upon the following findings: <br />a) The accessory structure has existed on the property for <br />approximately 15 years. <br />b) Based upon the limited parking and traffic/access plan <br />approved for site, there is no other available area for <br />salt shed. <br />is Page 1 of 4 <br />
