O <br /> 01 O <br /> CITY of ORONO <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> �kESH0 NO, 3001 <br /> A RESOLUTION GRANTING <br /> VARIANCES TO <br /> MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br /> SECTION 10.25, SUBDIVISION 6 (B) <br /> FILE #1662 <br /> WHEREAS, Richard and Collette Roberts (hereinafter "the <br /> applicants") are the owners of the property located at 1937 <br /> Fagerness Point Road within the City of Orono (hereinafter <br /> "City") and legally described as follows: <br /> Exhibit A, attached (hereinafter "the property"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicants have applied to the City for <br /> variances to Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.25, Subdivision 6 <br /> (B) to permit the construction of a new single family residence <br /> on a lot of 0.39 acres in area and 74' in width, in the LR-1C <br /> zoning district which normally requires 0.50 acres in area and <br /> 100' width. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of <br /> Orono, Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #1662. <br /> 2. The property is located in the LR-1C Single Family <br /> Lakeshore Residential Zoning District. <br /> 3. The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application <br /> on July 15, 1991 and recommended approval of the proposed <br /> variances based upon the following findings: <br /> A) A single family residence currently exists on the <br /> property. <br /> B) The property was originally created via a <br /> subdivision which occurred prior to the current minimum <br /> lot area and lot width zoning requirements. <br /> Page 1 of 4 <br />
