WITHIN THE PLAT OF RINGERSWOOD <br /> SECTION 34, TOWNSHIP 118, RANGE 23 <br /> _ CITY OF ORONO <br /> HENNEPIN CODNTY, MINNESOTA - <br /> FII,E NO. 1428 <br /> � WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation <br /> organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, on June 23, 1989, Clifford Otten of Otten <br /> Brothers Nursery filed a petition with the City of Orono <br /> requesting the vacation of portions of Pine Ridge Lane, <br /> originally dedicated within the plat of Ringerswood, said <br /> portions to be vacated being legally described as follows: <br /> That pa�rt of Pine Ridge Lane as dedicated on the plat of <br /> Ringerswood according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin <br /> • County, Minnesota, lying easterly of the northwesterly line <br /> of said Lot 2, Block 3, Ringerswood and its northeasterly <br /> extension. <br /> WHEREAS, after due published and posted notice, a <br /> public hearing was held before the Planning Commission on August <br /> , 21, 1989 regarding said vacation and al 1 interested persons were <br /> given an opportunity to be heard; and <br /> WHEREAS, after due standing and consideration, the <br /> Planning Commission voted to recommend approval of the requested <br /> vacation and the Council of the City of Orono finds that said <br /> vacation as proposed is in keeping with the public interest, in <br /> consideration of the following findings: <br /> l. The proposed vacation is consiste'nt with the principals <br /> and goals set forth by the City in its recent Comprehensive <br /> - Plan amendment (referred to as Comprehensive Plan Amendment <br /> #2, October l, 1987 ) . <br /> 2.
