' � • ' ` , � . . .. <br /> ��� -T- . - c�t� o� oR,oNO . <br /> � ��� - . <br /> €�.: � : RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> + � , NO. 2759 <br /> � � • • . <br /> Orders to remove or repair the structure were issued by the <br /> Bui].ding Official on January 21, 1988. These orders have not been complied <br /> with. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows: <br /> 1. That the City Council of the City of Orono, pursuant to State <br /> Statute 463.251, hereby orders the owner(s) to board-up and secure the <br /> structure within ten (10) days. The City Council further orders that <br /> unless corrective action is taken within ten (10) days from the date <br /> of service of this order, it will result in the City properly securing <br /> the building and the cost thereof will be charged against the real <br /> estate as provided in State Statute Section 463.21. <br /> 2. The City Council of the City of Orono, pursuant to the foregoing <br /> findings and in accordance with Minnesota Statutes Sections 463.15 to <br /> 463.261 hereby orders the owner(s) of the property to make the <br /> fol lowing repairs in order to correct the hazardous condition: <br /> • BASEMENT <br /> a) Footings & Foundation: provide new. <br /> b) Stairs: provide new with proper headroom - 6 ' 6" minimum. <br /> ELECTRICAL _ <br /> c) Service: provide 100 amp service - installed by Iicensed <br /> electrician. <br /> d) Wiring: remove all extension cords used as permanent wiring. <br /> e) Receptacles: provide outlets on alI walls so that no point on <br /> the floor Iine is more than 6 feet. <br /> f ) Light Fixtures: provide lighting outlets controlled by a <br /> switch in each habitable room. <br /> PLIIMBING <br /> g) Cleanouts: provide clean outs per MN State Plumbing Code by <br /> licensed master plumber. <br /> h) Floor Drain: provide f loor drain for excess water release of <br /> water heater. <br /> • ', i) Water Heater: provide access to water heater. <br /> � Page 5 of 8 <br />
