rt=�= - Clt� o� ORONO . <br /> �` ,✓(�j ,„ RESOWTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL � <br /> .,>, <br /> �, NO. 2757 <br /> � <br /> � � � • • <br /> A RESOLDTION ORDSRING A FSASIBILITY STIIDY <br /> FOR A SANITARY FORCEMAIN/GRAVITY <br /> TRDNR S$W$R LIPB OLD CRYSTAL BAY ROAD <br /> Whereas, the City of Orono has constructed sanitary sewer <br /> and water improvements adjacent to Highway 12 known as the <br /> Highway 12 Sanitary Sewer and Water Improvements, and <br /> Whereas, the existing sanitary sewer trunk line adjacent to <br /> the Burlington Northern Railroad in Long Lake is not of adequate <br /> size to accept the increased flows from the Highway 12 <br /> improvement area, and <br /> Whereas, there i s an a lternate route f or a sewer 1 ine that <br /> would accept the increased f lows, that being a force main/gravity <br /> sewer line south on Old Crystal Bay Road from the Burlington <br /> Northern railroad to the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission <br /> Pump Station at 1000 Old Crystal Bay Road, and � <br /> �. Whereas, the most efficient manner in which to obtain the <br /> necessary information and costs is to perform a feasibility <br /> study. � <br /> Now therefore, be it resolved that the City Council does <br /> hereby direct the City engineer to prepare .a report as to the <br /> feasibility and costs of a project not to exceed $6,000. 00. <br /> Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono this 22nd <br /> day of January 1990. <br /> Jam s R.
