John Hardin (hereinafter "the applicant" ) <br /> is the owner of the property located at 1496 Park Drive within <br /> the City of Orono (hereinafter "City" ) and legally described as <br /> follows: <br /> Lots 4 and 5, Block 14, Saga Hi11 Revised, Hennepin County, <br /> Minnesota. Also commencing at the southwest corner of Lot <br /> 4, Block �l4 , Saga Hill Revised, Hennepin County, Minnesota; <br /> thence south to the northeast corner of Lot 6, Block 14; <br /> thence 54.4' east to the west line of Lot 94, Highwood Lake <br /> Minnetonka; thence north to the intersection with the <br /> northerly line of Lot 4, Block 14 extended; thence <br /> northwesterly to the point "of beginning, (hereinafter "the <br /> • property" ) ; and � <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant has applied to the City for <br /> " variances to Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.03, Subdivision 9 <br /> (C) to permit a 167 square foot addition to an accessory <br /> structure that would result in an oversized accessory structure <br /> of 1,166 square feet where only 1,000 square feet is allowed for <br /> this property. The addition also brings the total area of <br /> accessory structures on the property to 2,055.6 square feet where <br /> only 2,000 square feet is allowed for a property less than 1.99 <br /> acres in area. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, � BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of <br /> Orono, Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #1489. <br /> 2. The property is located in the LR-1B Single Family <br /> Lakeshore Residential Zoning District requiring 1 acre in <br /> area. The property consists of 44 ,418 square feet or 1. 01 <br /> acres. <br /> 3.
