See Attachment V. <br /> Septic System The property has a confornung septic system. The original alternate drain <br /> � field site is in the same location of the proposed pool. A new alternate site <br /> has been identified north of the proposed pool site. This site has been • <br /> tested and meets all the requirements for a conforming drain field, <br /> including set backs from lot lines,structures,and wells. See attached site <br /> evaluation dated 5/29/07(Attachment Vn. � � <br /> Variance The project does require one variance in that the pool and pool shed, <br /> although conform.ing in terms of distance from all properry lines,will be <br /> positioned in front of the plane of the street-side wall of the main house <br /> struclure(see attachment). The variance requested is to locate the pool and <br /> pool house approximately 65 feet bacic from the front lot line and 60 feet in <br /> front the west lot line and in front of the plane of the front wall of the main <br /> house structure. <br /> � Rationale Colin Drive is a curving cul-de-sac with four houses(m;n;,,,um 2 acre lots). <br /> Houses on the drive are arranged in various posilions and none are in a <br /> line with any others. The intent of'the applicable building code is to <br /> maintain a common fac,ade along streets with several houses set back from <br /> the street along a common plane. The code seeks to protect and maintain a <br /> balanced and common look and prevent intrusions into the facade by <br /> structures and out buildings. This does not apply to Colin Drive. . <br />
