A summary of the inspection <br /> is below. <br /> Septic Tank CondiNon <br /> 1. Pumpout needed within one year(last pumpout 5/1/96) <br /> The septic system is non-compliant due to a lack of a three foot separation distance between the bottom <br /> of the drainfield to the seasonally high watertable. The three foot requirement is a State Code,not a City <br /> Code. A soil boring was conducted to determine the depth of the seasonally wateRable. The septic <br /> system must be replaced by December 31,2008. <br /> Enclosed is a list of state licensed septic contractors �-ho work in Orono on a regular basis. Also <br /> enclosed is a fact sheet explaining how a septic sy�stem functions properly.
