MINUTES OF THE <br />RECONVENED 2011 LOCAL BOARD OF APPEAL AND EQUALIZATION <br />Monday, May 9, 2011 <br />6:45 p.m. <br />9. Dan Crear, 3701 Shoreline Drive. The property owner had submitted a written request to reserve <br />his right to appear at the county level and the valuation was not reduced. <br />10. Central Orono, LLC, PID#33- 118 -23 -11 -0060. This is a commercial property and the assessor <br />is not recommending the valuation be reduced. <br />Bremer moved, Franchot seconded, to approve the 2011 recommendations of the Hennepin County <br />Assessor's Office. <br />Printup asked what the average decrease was for those valuations that were reduced. <br />Stulc indicated he does not have that information readily available but that he looks at each property <br />on an individualized basis based on the property's market value and the information that was provided <br />by the property owner. <br />Printup asked how many years previous they had been personally inspected. <br />Stulc indicated he has dealt with Mr. Johnson for a number of years and that his property has been visited <br />recently. The Mack, Bessesen, Birkland and Burns properties were inspected for the first time this year. <br />Stulc stated the assessor's office personally inspected each of the properties after the first meeting of the <br />Board of Appeal and Equalization. <br />VOTE: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Bremer moved, Rahn seconded, to adjourn the Orono Board of Appeal and Equalization at 6:55 <br />p.m. VOTE: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />ATTEST: <br />Linda S.
