ADOPT 2008 -2030 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN — RESOLUTION NO. 5959 <br />Gaffron stated before the City Council is a resolution for final adoption of the 2008 -2030 Comprehensive <br />Plan. The Metropolitan Council granted their final approval of the plan on August 25th, with some minor <br />revisions being made regarding the parks map. In addition, the amendment regarding 875 Wayzata <br />Boulevard property was also approved. <br />Gaffron noted the Metropolitan Council's letter of approval is subject to the following recommendations <br />by its advisory bodies: <br />Adoption of the advisory comments for transportation and surface water management presented <br />in those sections of the review record. Those advisory comments include that MTS staff will use <br />modified traffic allocation tables for future travel demand and modeling based on the plan <br />update, and that the City must provide to Met Council a copy of the MCWD- approved Surface • <br />Water Management Plan upon its adoption, which is expected to occur in October. <br />PAGE 2 of 14 <br />
