'The installer and I then performed a site inspection and determined that the <br /> clrainficid trenches west of the drop boxes are not level, but run downhill. Because the <br /> trenclies are not level, the effluent overlo�ds this end of the system before the remaind�r of thc <br /> system is rarely used. Most of the discharge is occurring on the second and third trenc}ies. <br /> Tc� alleviate the clischarge, 8 to 16 inches of fill was added to the west end of the drainfield. <br /> rI'wo of the drainfield laterals will be capped to allow the new soil to settle before that area of <br /> the system is used.
