ON MONDAY, DECEMBER 18, 2006 <br />IN THE ORONO COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />Members Present: Mayor Barb Peterson, and Council Members McMillan, Murphy, <br />and Sansevere. (Council member White airrived at 6:15) <br />Staff Present: City Administrator Ron Moorse <br />Mayor Peterson called the meeting to ordel at 6:05 p.m. <br />Moorse outlined a mediated settlement that was reached with Mn /DOT regarding the <br />value oPoroperty (the "Carlson property") acquired by Mn /DOT as right -of -way for the <br />Highw6y 12 project through the condemnation process. The condemnation <br />Commissioners' award was $231,000. The settlement reached through mediation was <br />$340,000. <br />Mayor Peterson moved and Murphy secor <br />amount of $340,000.
