I have one question pertaining to the
hardcover calculations. Survey Key"O" is labels as a walkway and 100 sq feet is excluded from the calculation. Is the
walkway a pervious paver system or a deck with a minimum of% inch spacing between boards and a pervious surface
below the deck as called for in our code (for the deduction)? See page 2 of the hardcover information packet or C
Code Section 78-1684(5). If not,the 100 sf exclusion is not allowed. In order to avoid any additional delays,we can note
on the issued permit that at least 100 sf of the walkway labeled as"0" must be a pervious paver system and a pervious
design will be required. If you agree we will issue the permit this afternoon.
Let me know how you want to proceed.
From: Curt Kallio [mailto:curtkallioCakallioengineering.com]
Sent: Wednesday, May 21, 2014 10:15 PM
To: Christine Mattson
Cc: 'Mike Fritz'; 'Dan Houck'
Subject: 1535 Fairview Cottage Ln Survey Revised 5/21/14
Christine,
Attached is the revised survey and hardcover per your comments.
Thanks,
Curt Kallio
Kallio Engineering and Surveying
10775 Poppitz Lane
Chaska, MN 55318
612-418-6828
i
