There will be no need for a City Council appearance. I wanted to get in touch with you to let you <br /> know that after much double-checking in our Code we determined that the addresses can be reassigned at a staff level. I <br /> apologize for the confusion on this issue, we don't handle requests like this very often. <br /> There was some further clarification needed from our Code regarding address number assignment and the assignment of <br /> a City street name, which does require City Council approval, and the fact that previously no homes were addressed off of <br /> Fairview Cottage Ln. We have resotved this in-house and have processed your address change, see the attached memo <br /> to the Clerk. There is no Council approval requirement. <br /> Our Clerk sent out the request to Hennepin County this week and it should not be long before the change is made. You <br /> (&the Houcks) should also be receiving a notification of this in the mail.
