Sansevere questioned whether <br />Police Chief Good is recommending denial on the application because of the incomplete information on <br />the application. <br />Moorse stated it is his understanding that the police chief added the missing information; otherwise she <br />would have had to deny the application. <br />Murphy stated at the time of the initial application to increase the size of the restaurant/bar, the City <br />Council requested a report from the police chief, which had a number of details regarding violations. <br />Murphy inquired what criteria the City follows for denying a liquor license. Murphy stated to his <br />recollection the City denied a liquor license for a different establishment for lesser reasons. <br />• <br />• <br />White stated his recollection of the other establishment was that there was also incomplete or missing <br />information in the application. White suggested that there be some type of fine imposed when <br />applications are not completely filled out or truthful and that the penalty should be stiff enough to get the <br />applicant's attention. 4) <br />PAGE 10 <br />
