VOTE: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />8. #05 -3149 TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2060 SIXTH AVENUE NORTH — <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />Peterson moved, Murphy seconded, to table Application #05 -3149, Trinity Lutheran Church, <br />2060 Sixth Avenue North, at the request of the applicant, to the November 14, 2005 City Council <br />meeting. VOTE: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />• <br />*9. #05 -3151 GARY AND SANDRA BARON, 3619 NORTH SHORE DRIVE — VARIANCES — <br />RESOLUTION NO. 5389 <br />Murphy moved, White seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION NO. 5389, a Resolution granting lot <br />width, lot area, lake setback, and hardcover variances for the property located at 3619 North Shore <br />Drive. VOTE: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />MAYOR/COUNCIL REPORT <br />White stated in his view it is inappropriate for the Park Commissioner to lecture the Council on how inept <br />the Planning Commission is. White stated in his opinion the Planning Commission is going a good job. <br />Murphy commented that also happened two weeks ago with another Park Commissioner. <br />McMillan noted that commissioner was commenting on a specific application. McMillan stated she <br />would be willing to call the Commissioner and discuss the situation. <br />White stated he has been informed that it costs the City of Minneapolis $30,000 for each dog park. <br />Sansevere commented the Planning Commission in his view does a marvelous job and that it is unusual • <br />that the Council differs from the recommendation of the Planning Commission. <br />PAGE 24 <br />
